News
• All titles are available through Amazon KDP in e-book and paperback form.
• David's photographer/ author/ musician site is www.ramblingrose.eu
• A second edition of Seaside Frolics: Whitstable, Tankerton & Herne Bay will be ready before the end of October in paperback form. Sadly, trade colour printing is not as good as that of my original edition printed on art paper. It went out of print five years ago but remains a classic set of pictures of Kent's North-east coast through the seasons. There are many new images in the book. Some of the originals (from 2004 to 2006) are now historic as there have been many changes in the towns, particularly Whitstable.
• For November, I plan a second edition of Notes on the Botany of the Bible. This book looks at the plant references in the Bible, NOT biblical stories associated with them. It is up-to-date with research and botanical nomenclature. As far as I know there is nothing else like it on the market anywhere in the world. I will transfer the facsimile pages of the 1920s manuscript on which the volume is based to the latter half of the book. It is a very interesting project, particularly to plant lovers.

Reference

Notes on the Botany of the Bible by David Gordon Rose, ISBN 9781912152032 (paperback), ISBN 9781912152049 (.mobi/Kindle print replica)
Number One in the publisher's Reference series, this is a facsimile of a 1920s manuscript. David has added notes every four pages updating taxonomy and biblical references, clarifying points and cross-referencing. There is a subject index across facsimile pages and the new notes. The original author's line drawings have been supplemented with illustrations from J. H. Balfour's Plants of the Bible of 1885.
Such a facsimile is probably unique. It should be hugely enjoyable to people who are interested in the subject of plants of the Bible and Bible gardens.
